Margaret Josephs is weighing in on one of the more bizarre Bravo crossover rumors, and she is not holding back.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is defending Jennifer Fessler after Summer House star West Wilson was accused of allegedly hooking up with her. While both West and Jennifer have denied the rumor, Margaret thinks there is a chance West may have helped get the story started himself.
While chatting with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy at Tuesday’s Summer House reunion watch party, Margaret called West a “f–kboy” and accused him of saying things “for clout.”
The rumor made headlines after West’s ex Ciara Miller claimed that he had slept with Jennifer Fessler. Jennifer, who is married to Jeffrey Fessler, denied the claim, and West has also denied it.
Still, Margaret said she does not believe Ciara would make something like that up.
“I think that’s probably what happened,” Margaret said when asked about the possibility that West started the rumor himself.
She continued, “Do I think West might have said something to Ciara? Absolutely. Do I think Ciara lies? Absolutely not. Do I think West might have said, ‘This went down?’”
Josephs made it clear that she does not believe anything actually happened between West and Jennifer.
“I would have known at the time,” Margaret claimed. “I think Jenn would have confided in me. She’s known to be messy, she’s always very touchy-feely, but nothing happened.”
Josephs said she felt bad for Jennifer after the rumor started making the rounds. She also revealed that she told Jennifer to stop publicly defending herself and let the story die down.
The RHONJ star explained that she told Jennifer to “cut it” out and stop trying to “defend” herself.
Josephs then pointed to another Bravo crossover rumor involving Summer House star Jesse Solomon and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne.
According to Margaret, rumors spread last year that Jesse allegedly slept with Erika. Margaret suggested that may have played into West allegedly wanting to make it seem like he had his own Housewives hookup story.
This, Josephs alleged, may be “the other reason West was trying to say, ‘I did something as well.’”
Margaret then took one more shot at the Summer House men.
“These women aren’t using [them] for clout. These guys are little f–kboys. No one cares about you, let’s be honest,” Margaret quipped.
The rumor comes amid West’s already messy Summer House reunion fallout. West has been under fire over his romance with Amanda Batula, who was once close friends with his ex Ciara. Ciara has accused West of trying to embarrass her and claimed his relationship with Amanda may be partly motivated by spite.
Jennifer has denied anything happened, West has denied it too, but Margaret is making it clear she believes Ciara heard the story from somewhere.
And according to Margaret, that somewhere may have been West himself.
