Everything is on sale.
What Is Le Garage Sale?
Le Garage Sale has been an Austin shopping tradition since 2001, long before online flash sales and Instagram shopping was a thing. At this one-of-a-kind shopping event, you can expect deep discounts on clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry and more.
Held twice a year, the event gives local boutiques, independent retailers and designers the chance to sell excess and end-of-season inventory directly to shoppers. For shoppers, that means the opportunity to browse a massive collection of merchandise from Austin-area brands in one convenient location.
Think of it as the ultimate warehouse sale, with music, coffee, cocktails and an Austin chic crowd.
When Is Le Garage Sale Happening?
When:
- Saturday, August 29, 2026: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, August 30, 2026: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There is also a VIP Pre-Shop session on Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. for shoppers who want early access before the general public. I highly recommend doing this!

Insider Tips for Shopping Le Garage Sale
As someone who appreciates a good deal almost as much as a designer handbag, here’s my advice: come prepared.
Arrive early. The best selection tends to disappear quickly, especially when shoppers are hunting for popular sizes and major markdowns.
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. This is not a quick browse-and-leave situation. You’re going to want to take your time. I recommend wearing clothes that make it easy to try things on. Not every booth will have a dressing room – and even those that do feature tight quarters.
Make a lap before buying everything. Okay, maybe this is easier said than done when you find the perfect jacket at a ridiculous price.
Bring a shopping bag. Your arms will thank you.
Perhaps most importantly, leave a little room in your budget for unexpected finds. Le Garage Sale is one of those events where the best purchase is often the one you never planned on making.
