Amy Schumer has officially filed for divorce from Chris Fischer, weeks after announcing their split.
New York County court records from January 6 show the 44-year-old comedian and actress has filed for divorce from her 45-year-old husband.
The couple wed in February 2018 in a private ceremony in Malibu, California in 2018.

The wedding was held at a rented beachside property in front high-profile friends and guests, including Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston, and Larry David.
They later welcomed son Gene, now six, in May 2019.
Schumer revealed the breakup on Instagram on December 12, in a casually worded post, accompanied by a photo of them sitting side-by-side on the train.

“Blah blah blah,” the post started.
“Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years.
“We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”
The post went on to try and make light of the situation, addressing recent rumours the pair had split because the actress had “gotten skinny.”
“blah blah blah not (because) I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag s basket and not because he’s a hot Janlmes beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail,” Schumer continued.

The pair were married in 2018, but have been plagued with break-up rumours ever since.
Rumours first started to swirl when Fischer gave his wife a birthday cake that had “I’m leaving you” written on it as a joke.
The Trainwreck star posted a video of the incident to her Instagram.
In 2023, more chatter started when the couple spent their summer holidaying apart, with Schumer spotted in Europe with fellow comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica, and Fischer nowhere to be seen.

In a now-deleted Instagram Reel, Schumer further addressed the rumours, according to Page Six.
“Whatever ends up happening with me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism,” she wrote at the time, referencing her new figure and her husband’s autism diagnosis.
“Fingers crossed we make it through. He’s the best.”
The post has been scrubbed from her social media pages.
