Khloé Kardashian has hit out at “gross commentary” around ex-partner Tristan Thompson‘s brother Amari attending a dance class.
Amari has LGS [Lennox-Gastaut syndrome], a form of epilepsy, and the 41-year-old reality star addressed the “ridiculous” messages she got last time she shared videos of him enjoying a class.
“Last time I posted Amari in his dance class, I heard some ridiculous commentary about how, ‘How is this dance? Does he even know what’s going on?'” she said in a video posted to her Instagram Stories on Saturday.

“All of this gross commentary that I don’t need [and] no one needs.
“So, if you don’t know or if you have never had someone with special needs in your life and you don’t know what their interests are or what makes them happy, don’t comment. And if you don’t like this type of content, you don’t have to watch it. We’re all good over here.”
Kardashian then shared a few videos from Amari’s dance class that she confirmed she had permission to share.

In the videos, the 19-year-old smiled as the dance teachers spun him around in his specialised power wheelchair.
“I want to highlight such an amazing dance academy that does so much for special children,” she continued.
“And it’s so beautiful and it’s so special and these kids are so happy.”
She also shared a photo of herself with Amari and some of the dance teachers, captioning the post, “I’m so thankful for places like this and for human beings like this!”

Earlier this year, Kardashian revealed she had become Amari’s main carer due to Thompson’s busy NBA career and schedule.
“Tristan is in the NBA and he is in a different state, literally, every other day or every few days, and it’s just not conducive for Amari to be on that many planes,” she explained.
Amari’s mother, Andrea Thompson, was his “sole caretaker” in Canada before she died of a heart attack in January 2023.
After her death, Thompson became Amari’s legal guardian and he, along with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and her family, stepped up to take him back to the States to care for him.

“Amari has a handful of seizures a day with the type of epilepsy that he has,” Khloé previously said on an episode of the family’s reality show.
Kardashian now keeps Amari in Los Angeles with her and hired two “sensational caretakers” to help care for him.
Despite her and Thompson no longer being together, the former couple are working together as a team to look after their children, True, seven, and son Tatum, three, along with Amari.
