Captain America is a dad!
Actor Chris Evans and his wife Alba Baptista have welcomed their first child together, with the news first reported by TMZ and later confirmed by People magazine.
Their daughter is taking both of her parents’ surnames, according to a birth certificate shared by TMZ.

Alma Grace Baptista Evans was born on Friday afternoon in their home state of Massachusetts.
The couple, who were first linked in 2022, are yet to comment on the arrival of their daughter, whose first name means “soul”.
The 28-year-old actress and 44-year-old Hollywood heartthrob had fans speculating they were expecting after Baptista’s dad commented on a Father’s Day post in June.
“Many thanks dear Chris. Your turn is coming!,” Luiz Baptista wrote.

The pair wed in a private ceremony in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in September 2023 but only confirmed the nuptials a month later.
“I got married,” Evans said at New York Comic Con in October 2023.
“We kinda had two ceremonies – we had one on the east coast [and] we did one in Portugal. My wife’s Portuguese.”

He said at the time the dual ceremony wedding was a lot of planning and they were relieved to be enjoying time together as newlyweds.
“Now that we’re through that, we’ve just kinda been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn, my favourite season,” he said.
And now in the US autumn two years on, Evans has got his dream, having spoken publicly about wanting to start a family with his dream girl.
