Jennifer Lopez has had a good laugh about the criticisms she’s faced in her career during the opening night of her Las Vegas residency.
The 56-year-old referenced social media comments about her choice of outfits over the years while wearing a stunning jewelled body suit.
A clip from the show posted to TikTok of the moment revealed she takes fashion critiques in her stride.

“I do laugh at some of the things sometimes, ’cause they do say funny things too. ‘Why is she always dressed that way? Why doesn’t she dress her age? Why is she always naked?’,” the Maid in Manhattan star said between songs.
“And I say, ‘If you had this body, you’d be naked too,'” she said as the crowd cheered in support.
It wasn’t the only thing she poked fun at during the show, with Lopez referencing her four past marriages.
“For those of you who were there on opening night 10 years ago at that time, I had only been married twice,” she said, according to another video posted to social media.
“That’s not true. It was only once. Felt like twice. I’m just kidding. It’s over and we just, boom, and it’s fine. It’s all good.
“The good news is that I’m learning and I’m growing. We’re in our happy era right now.”

The Let’s Get Loud singer married first husband Ojani Noa in 1997, and they divorced in 1998.
Lopez’s second husband was dancer and choreographer Chris Judd. Their marriage began in 2001 and ended in 2003.
Her third husband was singer Marc Anthony who she wed in 2004 and shares twins Max and Emme. They broke up in 2014.
Lopez was most recently married to actor Ben Affleck with their divorce finalised last year.
However, the pair appear to still be supportive of each other with Affleck attending the premiere of Lopez’s latest film Kiss of the Spider Woman last year.
The All I Have singer made a heartbreaking admission about her love life a few months ago during a candid interview on The Howard Stern Show.

When asked by Stern, “Do you think you’ve truly been loved?” she answered, “No”.
Stern went on, asking: “And do you think you really have experienced loving someone?”
“Yes,” she replied, adding: “What I learned, it’s not that I’m not lovable, it’s that they’re not capable.
“They gave me what they had, they gave me all of it every time… [they] tried to give me the houses, the rings, the marriage, all of it.”
”And I didn’t love myself.”
