Aussie actress Isabelle Cornish has revealed she was hospitalised for days after an attempt to get over a fence ended in disaster.
The Puberty Blues star, 30, suffered multiple injuries, including internal bleeding, inflicted from a stake atop a fence.
Cornish said she “slipped and got a stake to the right upper abdomen, pulled my-self [sic] off the stake with my hand and sliced my hand open”.

”I tried to get over a fence like this,” the star told her tens of thousands of followers on Instagram, with a picture of the pointed fence in question.
Cornish also posted a photo of her hand and abdomen bandaged up.

“Few days in the hospital, tests, stitches, some internal bleeding that stopped, my lungs back to normal size and liver ok all good,” she wrote.
The actress will be undergoing surgery on her hand.

“Moral of story do not mess around with those stake fences…they are no joke,” she warned.
The Australian actress is best known for her roles on Puberty Blues and Home and Away.

She’s also been in the likes of Australia Day and Marvels the Inhumans (OV).
Her older sister, Abbie Cornish, is also an actress who rose to fame with roles in Sucker Punch and Geostorm.

Two months ago, Cornish shared a candid video of a snake she found inside her home.

”I went to make a cup of tea and he really wasn’t happy about it…” she said, sharing a close up of the snake sitting in her kitchen.
”Don’t stress I picked him up on a stick and put him back outside.”
