Congratulations are in order for Gossip Girl actor Penn Badgley and his wife, singer Domino Kirke as they welcome not just one new baby, but two!
Kirke, 41, took to Instagram to share the news that also came as a surprise to the couple.
The singer posted a photo booth strip featuring Badgleyand the couple’s four-year-old son James kissing Kirke’s pregnant belly.

“Babies #3 and #4 coming this Summer!” she wrote in the caption.
“Talk about a PLOT TWIST! Spontaneous twins are beyond magical. We are stunned. We are in awe. Can’t think of anyone else I’d rather be on this ride with @pennbadgley.
In the hashtags, she specified that their twins are Monochorionic/diamniotic or mono/di, with the babies being identical and sharing the same placenta but growing in separate amniotic sacs.

Kirke also shared a picture of a heart-shaped cake that had the message “Marry me over and over”.

Badgley and Kirke wed in February 2017 and welcomed their first biological son together, in 2020. The couple had suffered two miscarriages prior to welcoming him.
The You actor is also stepfather to Kirke’s son Cassius, 15, from a previous relationship.
