Taylor Swift is absolutely smitten.
The global popstar, who announced her engagement to Kansas City Chiefs football player Travis Kelce in August, made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and couldn’t help but gush about her husband-to-be.
Swift has already made it very clear that she is in love with her fiance – she’s spoken proudly about him during the press tour for The Life of a Showgirl and made references to him in her songs – but this time she said it outright.

Speaking to the late-night host about her busy year, which included buying all her original masters back, she sweetly referred to Kelce as “the love of my life”.
”Getting engaged to the love of my life, getting all my music back, those are two things that just never could have happened. They could have just never happened,” she said.
“It wasn’t like a matter of time, both of those things could have just never arrived in my life and I’m so grateful for both of those things happening.”
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on August 26 with a joint Instagram post, featuring snaps of their proposal.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” they captioned the post that stopped millions in their tracks.
Since then, Swift has spoken about Kelce and their engagement on several occasions as she promotes her new album.
Speaking to Jimmy Fallon back in October, she shared that Travis is her “favourite person [she’s] ever met”.

The pair have been together since 2023 and made their romance public in September that year, with Swift appearing at one of Kelce’s football games.
During Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, Kelce attended several shows and even jumped on stage with Swift at one of her London shows for the beginning of her Tortured Poets Department set.
Swift has also supported her future husband from the VIP suite at several of his football games.
It is not yet clear when the pair will be tying the knot but some reports say it may happen next June.
