She’s the A-lister who never gets it wrong when it comes to the red carpet.
But according to Emma Stone, she should have steered clear of the fake tan bottle before attending some of Hollywood’s biggest events in the early days of her career.

When a picture of herself flashed up on screen at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards, where she turned heads in a pale tangerine dress, Stone instantly commented on her fake tan.
”I looked like one solid thumb, and that dress is so pretty. Why did I decide to match my skin tone to the dress?” she said.
“That’s what bums me out about this.”

When a photograph of her in a metallic silver dress at the 16th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards in 2011 came up, the Oscar winner again said she regrets the spray tan.
“I told you before that I wasn’t going to say that I regret anything. I’m immediately going against that,” she hilariously said.
“It’s not about the dress though, it’s the spray tan!”
“I’m from Arizona, and I don’t have any pigment in my skin, so growing up, I was really obsessed with the idea of being tan,” Stone explained.
“That sort of followed me the first couple years that I was going to these types of things, I thought, ‘If you’re dressing up and want to look great, you should get a really dark spray tan’.”
Stone added that she didn’t put tan on her hands and “it looks like I’m wearing gloves”.
It seems in recent years, the actress has been embracing her natural beauty and her porcelain skin.
