The Walking Dead star Kelley Mack has died at the age of 33, following a health battle.
Her heartbroken family confirmed the sad news with fans by sharing a post on her official Instagram account.
They also released a statement on a Caringbridge page which revealed the actress died on August 2 and battled Glioma of the central nervous system before her death.

“It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley. Such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go,” the Instagram post read.
“Kelley passed peacefully on Saturday evening with her loving mother Kristen and steadfast aunt Karen present.
“Kelley has already come to many of her loved ones in the form of various butterflies 🦋 ❤️. She will be missed by so many to depths that words cannot express.”

A sibling appears to have written the Instagram post and added: “And as her sister, I want you all to know how brave that tough SOB was, especially when she decided to make the leap to be reunited with God. I’m so f–king proud of her.”
In the official statement, it revealed the actress, born Kelley Lynne Klebenow, “passed away peacefully” in Cincinnati.
It revealed a service for the late star will be held in Ohio on August 16, as well as a celebration of life in Los Angeles at a later date.
She is survived by family including her grandparents.

“Kelley’s legacy will live on through her contributions to film and television, and in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her talent, kindness and vibrant spirit,” it read in part.
In January, the star revealed her shock health diagnosis.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, “a glioma is a tumour that forms in the brain or spinal cord”.

“I have been diagnosed with #diffusemidlineglioma, an extremely rare type of #astrocytoma #cancer. Due to the biopsy surgery on my spinal cord, I have lost the use of my right leg and most of my left leg, so I now get around with a walker and a wheelchair,” she said at the time.
“I am determined and know that this will eventually be a short chapter in my long book.”
The late star appeared in The Walking Dead from 2018 to 2019 and other credits to her name include Chicago Med and 9-1-1.
