Iconic musician Stevie Nicks has been forced to cancel her upcoming shows due to an unfortunate injury.
The singer, 77, known for fronting beloved rock band Fleetwood Mac, has announced that she will reschedule her upcoming performances throughout August and September as she recovers from a fractured shoulder.
“Due to a recent injury resulting in a fractured shoulder that will require recovery time, Stevie Nicks’ scheduled concerts in August and September will be rescheduled,” a statement posted to the star’s Instagram read.

“Please note that October dates will be unaffected.”
Nicks was originally slated to perform nine shows across August and September in the United States and Canada. Those shows have now been rescheduled from late October through to mid-December.
Ticketholders have been advised to hold on to their tickets which will be “honoured on the new date”.

The statement confirmed that Nicks’ concert schedule will resume on October 1 in Portland, Oregon.
“Stevie looks forward to seeing everyone soon and apologises to the fans for this inconvenience,” the statement concluded.

Fans were quick to share their well wishes to the musician in the comment section.
“Heal quickly and safely goddess,” one fan wrote.
“Get well soon, we love you,” wrote another.
The announcement of the star’s injury comes after it was announced that Buckingham Nicks, the album that Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham released as a duo in 1973 shortly before joining Fleetwood Mac is set for a reissue.

The album is set to come out in all formats on September 19 to the excitement of many fans.
The pair make up one of the most tumultuous love stories in rock and roll history, with fans thinking they had finally let go of one another after their infamous fallout in 2018 that resulted in Buckingham being kicked out of the band.
But it seems Nicks and Buckingham aren’t quite done with each other just yet.
