Drake has officially cancelled his the remaining dates of his Anita Max Win Tour in Australia and New Zealand.
Back in February, the singer made a last-minute announcement he was postponing the remaining shows due to a “scheduling conflict.
Today, a statement posted to Ticketek’s website announces “the previously postponed Drake shows in Australia and New Zealand have now been officially cancelled”.

“Despite extensive efforts to find a solution, rescheduling within the necessary timeframe was not possible,” the statement read.
“Drake remains committed to returning and performing these shows when his schedule permits.”
Ticketek assured customers that all ticketholders will receive a full refund.

Back in February the singer announced he was cancelling shows in a statement given to Rolling Stone
Representatives cited “a scheduling conflict” as the reason for the last-minute change.
“We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows,” the statement read.

“All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but please note that as these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets will be released for sale.
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time doing these shows and are excited to return soon.
“We look forward to sharing the rescheduled dates with you as soon as possible,” the statement concludes.”
The news of the shock cancellation came after the singer had just completed four shows in Sydney as part of his tour.
Drake was set to perform at Brisbane Entertainment Centre again on March 4 and another Sydney date on Friday, March 7.
The Hotline Bling hitmaker was meant to travel to Auckland next after having already played some shows in Melbourne and Perth.

At the time there was rampant speculation that he would pull the plug on the remainder of his tour after he flew out of Australia during a break between shows.
Claims that the artist had shipped his stage equipment to Europe added fuel to those rumours.
The 38-year-old reportedly departed Brisbane for Fiji to enjoy some downtime before returning to the stage.
