It’s been a long road for Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley — filled with hurt feelings, reality TV tension, and one very public text. But after a rollercoaster year, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars say they’ve finally worked through their issues.

Their falling-out began behind the scenes at the Season 13 reunion, when Dorit read aloud a private message Kyle had sent her. The move sparked months of distance between the two women, with Kyle later admitting that she felt betrayed.
“We worked things out during the season and then, of course, had to go over things again at the reunion which is always tricky,” Kyle said during an April 8 Amazon Live stream. “But I’m happy to say we’re in a better place.”
While Kyle felt Dorit exaggerated the closeness of their friendship and took issue with comments made about her bond with country singer Morgan Wade, Dorit had her own perspective on the fallout.
“Oh, it was nasty,” Dorit told Interview Magazine in March. “It was mean and it was really hurtful, and I think that’s why I had such strong emotions with regards to our friendship and my feelings about it, because it didn’t feel consistent with the friendship I’d been made to believe we shared.”
The drama between the two was compounded by the fact that both women were dealing with personal struggles at home — each navigating a separation from their respective husbands. For Dorit, things hit a nerve when she discovered Kyle had been in contact with her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, during filming.

Still, despite all of that, both women came into the Season 14 reunion — taped on February 28 — ready to clear the air.
“Dorit and I are good, I’m happy to say,” Kyle confirmed.
“I can categorically tell you this: After the reunion, there is absolutely no doubt which way we go,” Dorit added.
While the full reunion has yet to air, it’s clear that fans can expect some emotional resolution — and maybe even a reset.
“Don’t forget, we just filmed the reunion a couple of weeks ago,” Dorit teased. “So I do think that viewers need to tune in and see.”
Looks like the Housewives have turned the page — at least, for now.
