When it comes to drama on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Jackie Goldschneider is no stranger to a good fight. But it’s the drama that lingered off-camera, long after the season wrapped, that has left Jackie frustrated and calling out her former best friend, Margaret Josephs.

In an explosive revelation, Jackie opened up about the way Margaret continued to tear her down months after the season ended—and it’s clear that Jackie isn’t holding back. Speaking on No Filter with Zack Peter, Jackie said, ,“What I don’t like is that Margaret went on a podcast for about six months after and just tore me to pieces and tried to embarrass me,” Jackie shared, reflecting on the fallout from their once-close friendship. “I just felt like, just stop. You’re too, the show is over, grow up.”
It’s not just the on-screen fights that Jackie is upset about; it’s the fact that Margaret Josephs kept the drama alive even after the cameras stopped rolling. “I didn’t like it. That’s what I dislike the most. Not what she did on the show, because on the show, whatever. The show is the show. You’re gladiators in the arena and everybody’s watching,” Jackie explained. For her, the real issue was that Margaret’s attacks were personal and continued to unfold in the public eye, making it harder for Jackie to move on.

Jackie Goldschneider also revealed that, despite the back-and-forth, she never stooped to Margaret’s level in the press. “I didn’t say a bad word about her ever in press. I didn’t say a bad word about anyone on the show. I just didn’t like that she did that,” Jackie remarked. Her frustration comes from the fact that while the Real Housewives franchise is known for its on-screen conflict, Jackie believes Margaret took it a step too far by dragging their personal issues into the public sphere.
Beyond her falling-out with Margaret, Jackie shared her thoughts on the larger dynamics of reconciliation within the Housewives universe. “I’m watching Potomac now. Wendy and Giselle are moving forward, or Karen and Giselle, both sets, and everybody’s applauding them for moving forward,” Jackie pointed out. For Jackie, it felt like a double standard—while other franchises get praise for resolving their issues, her attempts to make amends with Teresa Giudice were met with backlash. “When it came to me making up with Teresa, it was such a big deal, like, ‘How could you forgive someone like that?’” Jackie said. “Why am I not allowed to make up with somebody and move forward?”
At the heart of Jackie’s frustration is Margaret’s refusal to let her move on. “It was all because Margaret didn’t let it be okay, and that’s what bothers me,” Jackie confessed. And while Jackie is known for her ability to forgive, she made it clear she’s done with the friendship. “I don’t think I would be good friends with her ever again, but I would certainly move on,” she said. “I forgive easily because I don’t really care much.”
With Real Housewives of New Jersey currently on hiatus—filming expected to resume in 2026, according to Andy Cohen—Jackie’s candid revelations will likely leave fans wondering if there’s any hope of reconciliation between the two former besties, or if their drama will remain unresolved for the long haul.
